Head of Engineering
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead and evolve our engineering team, to coordinate the areas of data engineering, application, IoT, QA and DevOps. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development and operationalization of innovative solutions, defining and optimizing engineering processes to maximize team efficiency by automating workflows and implementing CI/CD practices.
DESIRED PROFILE
- Proven experience in leading technical teams in start-up or scale-up environments, preferably in SaaS companies focused on real-time data analysis;
- Proficiency in defining and optimizing engineering processes, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency;
- Practical experience in developing and managing real-time data analytics products, with an in-depth understanding of the associated requirements and challenges;
- Advanced knowledge of modern data product architectures and experience with continuous implementation and continuous delivery (CI/CD);
- Ability to manage the balance between product and technical debt, ensuring sustained innovation associated with MVP evolution for growing products.
- Leadership skills, with exceptional communication skills and management of technical teams in fast-growing contexts.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading the engineering team, ensuring efficiency in the development, delivery and constant evolution of the product;
- Define and implement work methodologies that promote process automation and increased operational efficiency;
- Collaborating closely with product management and other departments to align technical and business strategies, ensuring the implementation of innovative solutions that meet market needs;
- Guide and develop the team, promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous innovation;
- Ensuring the integration and effective use of CI/CD practices to continuously improve the quality and speed of delivery of the products developed.
